Tamrac Adventure 9
The Tamrac Adventure 9 belongs to the adventure series of uniquely designed lightweight backpacks. Its lower section has been completely foam-padded to protect the camera equipment, while the upper section is large enough for storing personal items and other gear. It has a separate compartment that can hold a laptop which is also foam-padded. The compartment is located for ease of access and can conveniently contain an Apple 17’ MacBook Pro and other kinds of notebook and laptops up to 15”. The user can reach in and get his laptop computer out of the bag, or his other personal items without disturbing the cameras and photography gear in their secure holding places.
The top compartments features a removable pocket that keeps the laptop cables and AC adapters organized and easily found in separate pockets. The Tamrac Adventure 9
has a capacity to hold things within its 8000cc space. If you need even more space, you can go for the adventure 10 with its 13000cc capacity.While the Tamrac Adventure 9 and 10 backpack designs are sleek and modern, they were made to look like they are not camera bags for security purposes. As there are thieves and robbers always on the look out for valuable things to steal, this backpack has been designed to look just like an ordinary personal gear bag containing nothing more valuable than a few days’ change of clothes and personal toiletry items.
The Tamrac Adventure 9 has double zipper pulls, providing easy and quick access to the photography equipment during special moments when you need to capture a mood or a shot. The bag is protected by a weather flap, and in times of emergencies it can be quickly released because of the installed special buckles which at the same time are snug and fit providing security from slippage and accidents.
A DSLR ready for shooting with its lens attached can be secured inside the main compartments supported by foam pillars. There are foam-padded dividers that can be easily adjusted to protect other camera components and accessories. These Tamrac Adventure 9
bags use a patented Memory & Battery Management System™ and identify memory cards and batteries by using red flags from those that are already used up. The Windowpane Mesh pockets are intended for organizing cables, filters and other accessories.There are also two mesh side pockets outside the bag structure so that the user has quick access to other accessories or water bottles. Carrying a backpack has never been so easy with the Tamrac Adventure 9’s foam-padded harnesses. Its sternum straps have been contoured so that the weight of the bag containing camera gear is distributed across the shoulders evenly. The harnesses has special attachment points called the Tamrac’s Strap Accessory System so that the packs can be customized with other Tamrac products for additional load that can be bought and strapped in. Accessory straps, for example are optional which when attached will allow secure carrying of a tripod secured by two lash tabs on the bottom.

backpack measures 13W x 10 ½ D x 20 H or 33 x 27 x 51 cm and is available in Red/Black or Gray/Black colour combinations. Its total weight is 1899 grams. It has been designed to contain a pro DSLR like Nikon’s D Series or Canon’s EOS 1D Series with a 5” lens attached. The bag has been designed to carry additional lenses, accessories, a flash and a 17” screen laptop. The waist belt feature helps stabilize the backpack when the carrier is on the move.
